I have a nuisance when going through my DR routine; synchronizing
passwords for users whose passwords have changed.



Although there is a way to add a login when you have its encrypted
password, and there is a way to see whether the source and destination
passwords are the same, there doesn't seem to be a way to update a
password for a login if you only have the encrypted password. So you
have to drop and re-add the login. This is SQL 2000
