RE: SQL2005 DTS schedule legacy job

Well, well, well!
It's Norkett Margaret! Hehe. How have you been?

I logged on to the source server (SQL Server 2000 server) and went to
the Jobs, right click, and generate script, and copy to clip board.

Log on to destination server (SQL Server 2005 server) and select the
database name and click on new query. Paste script in query and update
the server name at the top before you execute it.

That's it. I ran one and it executed successfully.

It's Fridayyyyyy! Partyyyyyyyy! Hehe.

Have a great Day and Weekend!

Subject: SQL2005 DTS schedule legacy job

I've pulled over a DTS job from my old SQL server to my SQL2005 server
and
it's put it into the Legacy folder. When I go to try to create a
scheduled
job to run it, Legacy is not one of my choices.

How do I create a job to schedule my legacy DTS to run or will I have to
re-create the job in SSIS?

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know them.
