DATENAME(datepart, date)

Arguments
datepart
Is the parameter that specifies the part of the date to return. The table
lists dateparts and abbreviations recognized by Microsoft® SQL Server(tm).

Hi Freinds,


I need to get day in string format ( AS SUNDAY ) for a
given date.I checked the BOL but couldnt find it.Does
somebody knows this.I am using SQL 2000.
