RE: Replication Setup

The person's responding to you are probably thinking of replication
between SAN's. That is a whole different thing.

Never heard of that. I set up replication on PC's before, no raid just

Subject: Replication Setup

Hi Gurus,

I am very new to replication. I have Dell power edge 860 server with
RAID 1 in it. It has windows 2003 64 bit and also sql server 2005 64 bit
edition. This server is in collocation. Now company requires us to setup
the replication. I have somebody telling me that I need RAID 10 or RAID
5 in it to do the data stripping. Please advice

I will appreciate all suggestions.

Thanks
