RE: Problem with backup the remote location

One thing to make sure is that the login running the MSSQLSERVER service
requires rights to create/edit files on the share you are accessing.
Unless you are allowing null shares or guest accounts, that means the
login can't be a local user (i.e., it has to be a domain user account).

Subject: Problem with backup the remote location

I am trying to create a backup device in MS SQL 7 to a remote location.
The remote location is a 2000 server on the same domain as the SQL 7
server. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks,
Josh
