Is your database model set to full recovery? If so you probably need to do
a full backup first.

Subject: Truncate the transaction log space.
Dear All,
I am using SQL server 2005. I have one satabase name of
"Staples" This is database size 25 MB only but this log file size is 4GB.
Now I truncate the log space bcoz my hard disk space is very
low.
I used " DBCC shrinkfile('Staples_Log',1) " command also but
it's not reduced their size.
Please help me.
Advanced Thanks,
JSaraboji.
