At the Network Security company I used to work we never thought to do
that!!!

Okay, I'm lyin. Every 3 months.

Depends on company policy and any external company certifications and if
you work with gov't contracts (or subcontracts).

Happy Friday Lazy DBAs,



I hope everyone has fantastic weekend plans that do not include working!



But... a quick question before you go: As a general rule, how often do
you change the passwords for the SA account and service accounts(if you
run the SQL Service under a domain account.)



Is there a recommendation or standard anywhere? I'm trying to decide
how oft they should be changed.
