RE: CPU Usage

RE: CPU Usage

Hi,
Create a "queue" service between the app servers and the db. This
service needs to (asynchronously) queue requests from the nlbs and feed
them to the db in fifo order. Since the queue will be asynchronous,
there will be no "blocking" of the nlb processes.

Regards,
Ken

Subject: CPU Usage

HI,

I have a scenario,
Cliens --> App Server on NLB --> DB Server(SQL 2000)
While testing load, from Client to APp Server, the
load is evenly divided into the 4 APP servers on NLB
but when the request goes from NLB to DB Server, the
CPU shoots to 100% and the performance degrades. I
checked all the possible ways to tune the CPU. The m/c
is dual processor with 2.4 GHz speed. I tried on stand
alone DB Server and one on Cluster but no performance
hike.

Can anybody give any suggestion??

Regards
Mandeep
