Hi Chuk,
Assuming you are able to logon to windows NT/2000 server (PC where the SQL server is installed) with the NT Administrator account. If yes, then you just need to *ENABLE* the Windows Authentication. Now you can logon to SQL server without providing any password. Now you can change the sa password.

I have a remote admin that setup a SQL Server instance a while back and has
forgotten the sa password. I recall hearing something about a stored
procedure that will change the sa password without knowing the current
password. Does anyone have any information on this process?
Thanks,
Chuck
