You could query the information_schema views to retrieve the information.

Hallo DBA's,

Does anyone know how to print off the column headings of tables in an SQL
Server 2000 database. What I require is a copy of the design view showing
the list of all fields for each table in the database. I've tried to do
this an Enterprise Manager, but can't seem to do it.
