To test the failover - the easiest thing to do once you have it all set
up is to turn off the active node and try connecting to the databases
that reside on the cluster...if you can connect that's about it.
Performance tuning and monitoring is the same on a cluster as it is on a
stand alone box...same rules apply.

Well - some sort of shared storage is mandatory. You need both nodes
