Highlight the step in the SSIS package you want to run, specifically, then right click and select Execute.
Or just right click it and select Execute, however you have to make sure, particularily in a multi-step SSIS package, that the one you're about to execute is actually the one you want... which is why I said to specifically highlight/select it first.
The Excecution Results tab will give you some information on how far the process got depending what is involved, as does the Output tab but in slightly more detail than Execution Results. If you can't see the Output tab Ctrl+Alt+O will bring it up or go the the View menu and select Output.
