Make sure that when you install the client when it asks to install that
you do a custom or advanced. Then make sure that the product is marked
to install. I have seen this to be an issue sometimes.

I am having a nightmare installing the client tools on an XP Pro PC.. It
just won't install.. Before I troll millions of logs, any quick idea
what the issue is.. I.e. any known issues..
By Client Tools I mean the studio, and the Books on line even.. But I
can install the DEV edition db engine ok..
