Hey Gang,

I need some advice. My msdb on my dev box is having a bit of a problem.

Scenario:

1. Machince was upgraded from MS SQL 7 to 2000 --I just came on board so wasn't there for the install

2. When trying to backup a db I get this error:

Invalid column name 'flags'. Could not insert a backup/restore history/detail
record in the msdb database. This may indicate a problem with the msdb database.
The backup/restore operation was still successful.

Now I tracked down the error to the backupset table in msdb. After further investigation I noticed that several more columns are missing in this table when I compare it against another instance of 2000.


Has anyone else seen this before??

Please note that there no backups from which I can recover.
