RE: SQL 2k Job

That doesn't sound quite right. The job owner (you) should have privileges to schedule it.

Is it true only SA has permissions to schedule jobs? My problem is we have
a new SQL DBA and although I can create DTS jobs and execute them he is
telling me I can't schedule my own DTS packages - nor does he see any real
reasons why I would want to schedule jobs in a DEV environment.
