RE: SA Permission issue

RE: SA Permission issue

I reapplied SP 4 and it works now...I think I did not check the blank
password box during install. Luckily it is a test server. Thanks for the
help.

Lets start with the ODBC data source; on the second window displayed - after
source name and description and server idf have been entered - I get 'How
should SQL Server verify the authenticity of the login ID?'; underneath are
two radio buttons - 'With Windows NT...........' and 'With SQL Server...';
if you are wanting to log in as sa, you need to reset these from the default
'With Windows Nt' to 'With SQL Server..'. Since DTS will be using the ODBC
source this should fix the lot. Apologies, if I'm ending up on egg-sucking
for grandmothers - but this is exactly what the error message sounds like.
