Hi all,

I will divide my mail into 3 different parts.


Replication : Transactional

Problem : The publisher had 33 Million rows while the subscibers
had 27 mill
(which was the state prior
to update on
the publisher)

Points to ponder:

The database option on the publisher was set to simple.
The replication agents shows that it has been retrying
to connect to subscribers & the agents are suspect.
The replication on the enterprise manager does not show
that it has failed.
On restarting the replication the Subscribers show that
there is nothing to be replicated.



Please advice as to what may be the problem in the following case

1 The publisher is retrying.
2 The updates made to the publisher did not get accross to
subscribers.
