Hi all,

We have just started to implement SLS with our system. OUr DB is 27GB and
SLS backs it up to 4.5GB in 5 min.

I haven't used this product myself, but you may want to look at "SQL
Litespeed" (www.imceda.com). I've seen a couple of posts on this product
before, and everyone seems to be very pleased with it. Saves a lot of time
and disk space on back ups.

Hello gurus,

We have a 40gb database that needs to be backed up. Is there a way we can
back it up in smaller pieces so that the backup files can be moved to where
there aren't 40gb available at a time? The database and its backup take up
most of the space on our database server, and the situation is worse when a
new backup is being created while the old backup is not deleted until the
new one is finished.

Thank you in advance for any suggestion and help you provide.
