Mehenna,
I would check the NT Server logs to verify the error. This is a symptom of
a failure of the SCSI disk controller or another drive.
I've only seen this with controller failures.

Subject: disk problems
Hi,
We had a disk failure two days ago on our main database server. We replaced
the failed disk.
I checked the error log this morning and notice the following error in the
system log.
The device, \Device\ScsiPort7, did not respond within the timeout
period.
has anybody got experience with this sort of errors, should I be concerned
about this error?
Many thanks
Mehenna
