Too Many Emails in your inbox?

There are 2 solutions:

Solution #1:Email folders, Solution#2 : The DIGEST version of the list

Set up a LAZYDBA folder in your email program, then set up a rule/macro in your email program that automatically moves incoming emails into the LAZYDBA folder.

Sounds obvious, but a lot of people don't know that you can do this.

For Lazydba email, you need to move emails with:

"TO: mssqldba @ lazydba.com" into the new LAZYDBA email folder

Note that it's the TO: Field that says mssqldba @ lazydba.com, and not the FROM field. The FROM Field will contain the email address of the person who sent the email.

Subscribe to the digest version of the list.

Try subscribing to the "digest" version of the list. This is one email sent out at night which contains all the days chatter.
The opportunity to get involved in discussions is reduced obviously, as they've already happened! For more information on this and other list commands, send a blank email to mssqldba-help @ lazydba.com Please be aware that your email client and/or corporate mail server may not like the digest version of the list in rare cases. Nothing can be done about this, and you would have to stick with the normal version of the list.

In short:
1. send a blank email to mssqldba-digest-subscribe @ lazydba.com
2. reply to the confirmation message
3. When you have replied to the confirmation message you will get a WELCOME message, when this happens then unsubscribe from the real-time list by following the instructions at http://www.lazydba.com/unsubscribe.html
4. step 3 is important !
