Don't use the DATABASE OBJECT task in DTS; use the DATAPUMP task (aka,
Transformation Task).

Dear Fellows,
I m new to Oracle and have a project that involves data migration form
SQL
server 2000
to Oracle9i. The deal is that I just need some tool to map the data from
SQL
server to oracle and I have the schema for oracle already. I tried DTS
but
it starts with creating the objects(tables,..), which I don't need since
I
have the schema in Oracle I just want to pump data to the right columns
with
correct data type.Any ideas?
