Active Directory and its impact on SQL Server (and the DBA)

Hello all

I have tried asking our Microsoft representative for information regarding
the impact of Active Directory on SQL Server administration and received a
response " Hmmm No one has asked that before!" . Our company is actively
preparing to shift to Active Directory within the next six months, and I'm
getting worried.

What I would like to know is "What are the positive / negative things a DBA
should be aware of when the company shifts to Active Directory?".

What about potential benefits?

Can anyone refer me to a source that can answer these and related questions?

I'd be much obliged for any references.

Thank You
