First of all, your database is in Full Recovery Mode?

You can use:

BACKUP LOG pubs WITH TRUNCATE_ONLY

if you want to shrink... you can run a job with this:

DBCC SHRINKFILE(pubs_log, 2)
GO
BACKUP LOG pubs WITH TRUNCATE_ONLY
GO
DBCC SHRINKFILE(pubs_log,2)
GO

(but it's better you made a Backup Log a few minutes before... and a Full
Backup a few minutes after... if you made this, you can always make a
PITR!!!)

I thought it was truncate transaction with no_log....that appears not to be
