I figured out. In the client network utility/Alias/ add,add that sql server
IP address and TCP/IP protocol. that is it. Then go to EM and register.you
will see that sql server.

Subject: Access to DMZ domain SQL server

Hi all,

I have a SQL 7 on DNZ domain and behind firewall. The server is on.because
of firewall, I can't ping that machine.that is to say I can see this
machine. But someone said I just need to setup client network utility and
then I can register to Enteroprise Manager.

IS anybody know how to set up client network Utility? I know that machine's
Ip address.

thanks

Shelly
