Use A DTS package to bring in the excel information.
You can write queries in the transformation designer, or build them using a
visual tool and define how the data will be altered or copied.

Hi everyone,

I need to import data from Excel 97-2000 file to one
of the tables in the database on SQL 2000.
Can somebody tell me how to do it.I tried by building
a query but it gave me some syntax error though after
parsing the query , it came out as Valid.
