Where are you selecting this ? In SQL Query analyzer / or any other application ???

I've recently discovered that when I select numeric fields containing
negative data it is displayed as non-negative. If I select with a condition
of <numeric field> < 0, the data proves to be stored as negative, it is
just displayed incorrectly. Help?
